Family Day at the Zoo 2/1/09

It had been a very cold and crappy winter. We really needed to go someplace warm, and we only had a day, so we headed to the MN Zoo. Of course, Elliott was sleeping when we got there and we were afraid that he was going to sleep his way through the zoo, but he woke up shortly after we got there and really enjoyed himself. Checking out the fishies.
Elliott and Dad checking out the sting rays and baby sharks.

Can you believe that there is actually a Camel in MN in the snow?

Elliott loved watching all the monkeys play in the snow.

Story Time with Grandma

Joe got his wisdom teeth pulled today. Grandma Rita stepped in and picked up Elliott at daycare for us while Joe got home and started his recovery. Grandma Rita spent some time reading books to Elliott. He loves story time.

5 Month Old Wild Fan

Elliott is 5 months old and already a Wild Fan. One of his teachers at daycare, handed down the outfit. He is so darn cute in it and can't wait to go to his first Wild game. Elliott is telling Factor lots of secrets. They are best buddies already.
He is sitting up with support for short periods of time. Soon, he will be sitting all on his own.

Happy Birthday Nicholas

Our godson Nicholas turned 1 in January! He had a very nice party with close family and friends. He really enjoyed his cake.

Winter Carnival

It was a very nice weekend and the last weekend of the Winter Carnival. We went to see the snow sculptures on the Fairgrounds. We took our friend Charlotte along with us.

We wanted to go and see the ice sculptures downtown St. Paul, but a LOT of other people had the same idea. We couldn't find a place to park, so we went to Snuffy's for a malt.

Elliott was making a VERY silly Elmer Fud face and we captured it at just the right moment.

Valentine's Day Photo Shoot

I am going to try and take holiday/seasonal themed photos. Here are the Valentine's Day photos. Elliott loved the balloons. He really wanted to eat them. Luckily none of them popped.

What A Good Dad

I drop off Elliott at daycare and Joe picks up. Elliott has been a little needy lately and whenever Joe tried to put him down, he started fussing. Joe dug out the Baby Bjorn and this is what I came home to... I had to take a picture to capture the moment. Joe wasn't too sure that I needed a picture of the moment.
