Shower with Agility Friends

I have to send a big thanks out to Jan, Jess and Deb for throwing me a WONDERFUL baby shower with our agility friends. It was so much fun to see everyone. Because I haven't been doing agility for a few months, I haven't seen some people since May.

It was great to hang out and catch up on how everyone is doing. I also got some very nice presents which I greatly appreciate. Larry (Jan's husband) made the new baby a BEAUTIFUL cradle, that we are going to have in the living room. It is meant to be an heirloom piece that can be broken down and stored in a nice wooden box that Larry also handcrafted. I can't wait to use it.

Martini Party

We held our annual Martini party benefiting Bundles of Love, this past Saturday! We had GREAT weather and a GREAT turn out. We raised over $2000 from the silent auction alone! We received over 90 pounds of coins which totaled more than $700 and the grand total was a little over $5000! We surpased last years total of $3000. Many babies in the Twin Cities are being helped thanks to everyones donations.

Thanks to everyone who donated raffle and silent auction items, helped with set up and tear down and pitched in throughout the evening. We couldn't have done it without you!

One more title!

Factor finally did it this weekend! He got his Open Jumpers title in ASCA. We have been trying for this title for the past year. Granted, we haven't been to too many shows but the ones we went too weren't very productive in reaching the goal.

I wasn't able to run him because of this big belly of mine, but thanks to our good friend Jan, Factor ran all weekend and finished the weekend with a title. He ran so well for her all weekend. I was a nervous mom sitting in the stands all weekend watching him run though and wanting so bad to be out there running my own dog. The really cool thing about this run though was that he ran 6 yards per second. That is VERY fast even for Factor!

We do have another show in October and I am hoping to be out there at least running a few rounds with him while the baby hangs out with all his new Aunties!
